You will guide patients through education, scheduling, specimen collection, and follow-up, delivering a compassionate, high-quality patient experience as part of a multidisciplinary team.

The role emphasizes phlebotomy, clinical coordination, insurance verification, HIPAA compliance, and strong communication.

Qualifications

  • Nationally certified phlebotomist with strong venipuncture skills.
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience (front office or back office).
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with insurance verification and prior authorizations.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Experience with diagnostic or genetic specimen collection.

Responsibilities

  • Guide patients through hereditary cancer genetic testing process from start to finish.
  • Provide education on testing, procedures, and next steps.
  • Serve as the primary patient contact for a supportive experience.
  • Conduct structured patient consultations for clarity and accuracy.
  • Build relationships with partner site staff and clinical teams.
  • Own patient cases, scheduling, follow-ups, and workflow coordination.
  • Perform venipuncture and collect blood specimens for genetic testing.
  • Maintain HIPAA compliance and accurate data entry.
