Job summary

Hyundai Motor Group in Fountain Valley, CA seeks a Senior Group Manager for Genesis Quality & Service Engineering. This leadership role directs Genesis quality and service engineering activities across models to identify concerns, accelerate actions, and enhance customer satisfaction.

You will lead, prioritize, and integrate teams responsible for quality assurance, field issue resolution, and continuous improvement of the Genesis ownership experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 10+ years OEM service experience, 8+ in related roles.
• 3+ years in supervisory/leadership roles.
• Strong automotive technical knowledge and data skills.
• Proficient in MS Office; strong communication and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Genesis System and Model Line Engineering teams for new-model and current-model quality assurance and field issue resolution.
• Coordinate cross-functional activities with R&D, Quality, NAQC, HATCI, and other groups to support countermeasure development.
• Manage staff, coach, counsel, and develop team, optimizing time, resources and budgets.
• Oversee distribution of Technical Service Bulletins, Campaigns and Recalls.
• Drive staff development for technical and problem-solving capabilities and morale.
• Perform interviews, hire, and orientation for new staff.
