Job summary

Energy Systems seeks a Service Sales Representative to grow aftermarket parts and service within the assigned territory. You will promote service and parts departments to increase PM agreements, repairs, rentals, fuel tank remediation, and position Energy Systems as the primary source for aftermarket parts and service of power generation equipment.

The role requires a four-year degree or equivalent sales experience, cold calling, and a customer-facing sales background.

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree or equivalent industrial sales experience required.
• 1 year cold calling via phone and in person.
• 1 year customer-facing sales role that includes negotiation, presentation, and conflict resolution.

Responsibilities

• Develop sales proposals of generator products for customers and present to plant engineers, maintenance personnel, purchasing agents, and/or executives.
• Develop aftermarket program proposals for the generator service department for customers and present to plant engineers, maintenance personnel, purchasing agents, and/or executives.
• Research and evaluate customer application and aftermarket parts to properly size and develop a recommendation meeting customer needs.
• Establish industry contacts and develop a list of potential customers.
• Follow up on sales leads and make cold calls.
• Maintain understanding of industry trends, technical developments, and government regulations.
• Close sales and meet established quotas and revenue goals.
• Resolve customer problems with product and/or services and coordinate deliveries.
