Job summary

Energy Systems, a Generac Industrial Distributor in the Phoenix area, seeks a Service Sales Representative to grow aftermarket parts and service business across the territory. You will develop proposals for generator services, promotions for PM agreements, repairs, and rentals, and present them to plant engineers and maintenance staff.

Travel up to 60% within the territory is expected. The ideal candidate has a four-year degree or equivalent industrial sales experience, strong communication

Qualifications

• Four-year college degree or equivalent industrial sales experience is required.
• 1 year cold call via phone and in person.
• 1 year customer facing sales role that includes negotiation, presentation, and conflict resolution.

Responsibilities

• Develop sales proposals of generator products for customers and present proposals to engineers, maintenance personnel, purchasing agents, and company executives.
• Develop aftermarket program proposals for the service department and present to stakeholders.
• Research and evaluate customer applications to size or develop aftermarket parts recommendations.
• Establish industry contacts and build a list of potential customers.
• Follow up on sales leads and make cold calls.
• Maintain updated understanding of industry trends and regulations affecting target markets.
• Close sales and finalize contracts.
• Meet sales quotas and revenue goals.
• Maintain reports and logs as required.
