Job summary

Air Centers of Florida in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Service Coordinator for the Generator Department. You will coordinate service work orders, schedule technicians, and respond to service calls to keep operations running smoothly.

The role requires strong communication, time management, and organizational skills. Daily duties include coordinating parts, preparing quotes, tracking invoicing, and maintaining maintenance agreements while supporting other departments as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 2–3 years of customer service and/or logistics experience, industrial experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong time management, organization, and accuracy in daily work.

Responsibilities

• Schedule service technicians daily in an efficient manner.
• Respond to incoming service related calls.
• Assist external customers with their service needs.
• Prepare quotations of all service related projects and follow up on a weekly basis.
• Projects include emergency calls, scheduled service calls, and preventative maintenance agreements.
• Monitor all daily invoicing and work in progress (WIP) report on a daily basis.
• Work closely with the parts department to ensure parts are on hand for technicians.
• Monitor and schedule all periodic maintenance agreements.
• Input service data in business operating systems.
• May support other departments during special circumstances such as vacation coverage.
• Assist parts dept by maintaining organization of parts and workflow in Jacksonville shop.
• Assist with warehouse tasks, including forklift operation, warehouse cleanliness, stocking, loading/unloading shipments, and UPS shipments.
