MISO seeks an Engineer III - Generator Interconnection to analyze generator interconnection studies and support transmission studies across multiple states. You will coordinate studies from kickoff through completion, serving interconnection customers, Transmission Owners, and neighboring grid operators.

The role blends power system analysis with customer interaction, requiring collaboration across stakeholders and a focus on reliability as the grid evolves.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• Text notes indicate 3+ years of job-related experience.
• Desirable: power system planning/operations experience and familiarity with listed tools (PSS/E, MUST, TARA, TSAT, VSAT).

Responsabilidades

• Assist with system impact studies for generator interconnection requests.
• Review projects proposed by Transmission Owners and provide technical recommendations.
• Communicate study results and requirements to customers, Transmission Owners, neighboring RTOs, and internal teams.
