Job summary

MISO is seeking an Engineer II - Generator Interconnection to evaluate new and changing generation across its footprint. You will perform power system studies and act as a technical resource for interconnection customers, Transmission Owners, and neighboring grid operators.

Responsibilities include coordinating studies from kickoff to completion and communicating results and requirements to stakeholders, with a base salary in the stated range and bonus eligibility.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field (list above).
At least 2 years of job-related experience.
Nice-to-have: experience in power system planning/operations and tools listed.

Responsibilities

Assist with system impact studies for generator interconnection requests, evaluating reliability impacts.
Review projects proposed by Transmission Owners, providing technical recommendations.
Assist with assigned projects and communicate study results to stakeholders.
