Job summary

Integrated Power Services is hiring a Generator Field Service Technician to service and repair diesel and gas engine-driven standby generators for residential, commercial, and industrial clients. The role involves preventative maintenance, inspections, testing, and on-site diagnostics in their service areas.

You will travel in company vehicles, communicate clearly with customers, and document reports. A technical background and drive for safety are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a technical school is desired to include generators, diesel, power gen, or substation tech.
• Some experience in repair or maintenance of generators preferred or equivalent education/experience.
• Ability to read schematics, operating manuals, and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Service, repair, and maintain diesel and gas engine-driven standby generators in the field.
• Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, testing, and fault diagnosis.
• Provide excellent customer service and clear communication with clients.
• Operate company vehicle safely and adhere to safety policies.
