Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis, MO is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for General Surgery on 3W. This full-time night shift (7:00pm–7:00am) offers weekend coverage and a 36-hour weekly schedule.

The role uses the Mercy Nursing Conceptual Framework to provide patient care, coordinating with other departments while upholding patient rights and confidentiality. Requirements include an accredited nursing program, RN license (state or compact), BLS, and at least 2 years of experience; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure where nursing duties are performed.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Minimum 2 years of patient care experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the Mercy Nursing Conceptual Framework and nursing process to provide patient care.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
• Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients.
