Job summary

Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis, MO is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for the General Surgery 3W unit. This full-time night shift role runs 7:00pm to 7:00am on weekends, with 36 hours per week.

You will apply Mercy's Nursing Conceptual Framework and nursing process to patient care, coordinate with other departments, uphold patient rights and confidentiality, and participate in a caring, collaborative team that values innovation and compassion.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• BLS certification required or completed within 30 days of hire.
• Minimum of 2 years of patient care experience.
• Supervisor experience preferred (optional).
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred (education).

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the Mercy Nursing Conceptual Framework and nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients.
• Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
