Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis, MO is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for General Surgery 3W. The role uses the Mercy Nursing Conceptual Framework and nursing process to deliver high-quality patient care during nights on weekends.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Must meet all state board of nursing requirements.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or completed within 30 days of hire.
• Minimum of 2 years of patient care experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the Mercy Nursing Conceptual Framework and nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients.
• Coordinates patient care in conjunction with other departments and maintains patient rights and confidentiality.
