Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis, MO is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for General Surgery 3W to provide patient care using the nursing process, coordinate with other departments, and uphold patient rights and confidentiality.

The role is full-time, 36 hours per week, with shift: 7:00pm–7:00am. Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, an active RN license (state or compact), BLS, and a minimum of 2 years of patient care experience. A Bachelor's degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• RN must be licensed in the hiring state or hold a compact license.
• BLS certification required or to be obtained within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for assigned patients.
• Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
