Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis, MO, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for General Surgery 3W. This full-time role offers 36 hours per week with a shift from 7:00pm to 7:00am.

Required: graduation from an accredited nursing program, RN license (in state or compact), and BLS. Min 2 years of patient care experience; BSN preferred. Mercy provides comprehensive benefits including retirement plans and tuition support.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• RN licensure in hiring state and/or compact licensure required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for assigned patients.
• Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.
• Coordinates patient care in conjunction with other departments.
