Job summary

Cooper Farms is hiring for 1st shift General Production team members at our Cooked Meats facility in Van Wert, Ohio. No experience is required as training is provided. The role focuses on operating and maintaining equipment, following safety guidelines, and ensuring production standards are met.

You will work Monday to Friday, 6:00am–2:30pm or 7:00am–3:30pm, with opportunities for bonuses and future growth within the company.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to stand for long periods.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and move up to 100 pounds.
• Work in a temperature-controlled and damp production area.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain departmental equipment and operations.
• Ensure procedures are performed efficiently per production/quality/safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with others to keep all areas up to standard and report abnormalities.
• Accurately complete all required paperwork.

Pay & Schedule

• Starting Pay: $17.50/hour
• Increase to $17.75/hour after 90 days
• Monthly and Year-End Profit-Sharing Bonuses (based on company performance)
• Schedule:
  • Monday through Friday
  • 6:00am-2:30pm or 7:00am-3:30pm

What You'll Do

• Operate and maintain knowledge of the departmental equipment and operations
• Ensure that all assigned procedures are done in an efficient manner according to production/quality/safety guidelines
• Work with others to make sure all areas are up to standard and report any abnormalities
• Accurately complete all required paperwork

No Experience Required. Training Is Provided.
