Job summary

Pura Vida Miami LLC is seeking a General Manager for our fast-paced lifestyle brand cafe/restaurant. The role leads the store's operations, drives guest experience, and mentors team members to deliver fast, friendly service.

You will oversee inventory, scheduling, training, and compliance with food safety standards while controlling costs and optimizing performance. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus; college education preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of management experience in the hospitality/restaurant industry.
• College education is preferred, but not required.
• Hard-working, enthusiastic leader with strong communication, organizational & problem-solving skills.
• Friendly and professional demeanor with strong customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast paced, demanding environment.
• Passionate about health and wellness is a bonus.
• Must be able to frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Bilingual proficiency (English and Spanish) is a plus.
• Advanced typing/basic knowledge of Excel and POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Motivate and direct team members to exceed customer expectations with fast and friendly service.
• Oversee inventory management, labor allocation, and financial analysis to optimize restaurant performance.
• Handle daily ordering and invoicing at the store level.
• Provide training and mentorship for new employees and managers.
• Ensure strict adherence to food safety regulations.
• Lead by example in providing exemplary customer service and addressing concerns.
• Support recruitment, selection, hiring, and talent retention initiatives.
