Job summary

DHL Supply Chain seeks a General Manager I in the United States to oversee warehouse operations, lead a team of managers, and drive efficiency and safety across the facility. You will manage P&L, develop strategic processes, and build strong customer relationships to sustain the company's logistics leadership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years managerial/supervisory experience.
• 2+ years in a supply chain, warehousing or distribution environment.
• Experience in 3PL and/or Contract Logistics preferred.
• Staff management required.
• WMS experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and shipping goods efficiently and accurately.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize warehouse processes, minimize costs, and maximize productivity.
• Lead and motivate a team of Operations Managers and staff, providing coaching, guidance, and support as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, and oversee operations to maintain a safe, clean, and efficient environment.
• Utilize WMS, automation and other technology to track inventory, monitor performance metrics, and identify areas for improvement.
• Manage vendor relationships and ensure cost-effective services and supplies under the commercial agreement.
• Prepare and analyze reports on warehouse performance and key metrics to inform decisions.
• Lead customer relationships with daily contact to ensure satisfaction.
• Responsible for the site's P&L and present MBP/QBR to customers with strong team collaboration.
