Job summary

Goodwin Recruiting is seeking an experienced General Manager for a growing private restaurant group in Charlotte, NC. The GM will oversee both FOH and BOH, drive guest satisfaction, and own financial performance.

The ideal candidate has high-volume, scratch kitchen leadership, strong people development skills, and a hands-on leadership style. Six to eight weeks of paid out-of-market training is provided, with housing and travel support.

Qualifications

• Experience leading high-volume, full-service scratch restaurants.
• Strong P&L and financial management experience.
• Proven ability to recruit, develop and retain restaurant leaders and hourly teams.
• Experience managing both FOH and BOH operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of restaurant operations, including FOH and BOH performance.
• Recruit, train, coach, and develop a strong restaurant leadership team.
• Build a culture of hospitality, accountability, teamwork, and high performance.
• Maintain high standards for food quality, service, cleanliness, and guest experience.
• Own restaurant financial performance, including sales, labor, food and beverage costs, and controllable expenses.
• Use financial and operating results to identify opportunities and improve performance.
• Ensure consistent execution of company systems, procedures, and operating standards.
• Build relationships within the local community and support initiatives that drive restaurant awareness and sales.
• Partner with regional leadership while maintaining ownership and accountability for restaurant results.
