Goodwin Recruiting is seeking an experienced General Manager for a growing private restaurant group in Charlotte, NC. The GM will oversee both FOH and BOH, drive guest satisfaction, and own financial performance.

The ideal candidate has high-volume, scratch kitchen leadership, strong people development skills, and a hands-on leadership style. Six to eight weeks of paid out-of-market training is provided, with housing and travel support.

Qualifications

• Experience leading high-volume, full-service scratch restaurants.
• Strong P&L and financial management experience.

A growing, privately owned restaurant group is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead its Charlotte, North Carolina location. This upscale casual concept combines a scratch kitchen, craft-focused beverage program, strong operational systems, and a high-energy approach to hospitality.

We are looking for a hands‑on, engaging leader who can build a strong team and culture while taking full ownership of restaurant operations and financial performance. The ideal candidate brings both operational discipline and a genuine ability to connect with employees, guests, and the local community.

This position requires 6–8 weeks of paid, out-of‑market training. Candidates must be able to commit to the full training period. Housing and travel support will be provided.

What We’re Looking For

• Current or recent General Manager experience in a high-volume, full-service scratch restaurant
• Upscale or polished casual restaurant experience preferred
• Experience leading both FOH and BOH operations
• Strong P&L and financial management experience
• Proven success recruiting, developing, and retaining restaurant leaders and hourly teams
• Experience driving sales, controlling costs, and improving restaurant performance
• Strong hospitality mindset with an engaging, visible leadership style
• Comfortable operating within a structured, systems-oriented environment
• Ability to build relationships with guests and the local community
• Ability to complete the required 6–8 weeks of out-of‑market training
