Job summary

MTM Transit in La Verne, CA is seeking an experienced General Manager to oversee contracts, coordinate with operations and client teams, and ensure compliant, cost-effective service delivery. You will act as the internal liaison to align departments with client needs and mandatory contractual requirements.

The role requires 7+ years of leadership in large operations, site management of 100+ employees, and strong knowledge of transit and regulatory environments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required, with strong leadership potential.
• Experience leading large operations teams in multimillion-dollar contracts (5+ years).
• Experience managing a site with 100+ employees and monitoring contractual services.

Responsibilities

• Oversee contracts and coordinate client needs with an eye toward growth and efficiency.
• Identify risks and develop resolution processes to protect service delivery.
• Analyze program needs, adjust staffing and resources for cost effectiveness.
• Maintain documentation/work plans and oversee employee training and development.
• Serve as liaison between MTM Transit, client, and internal departments to ensure compliance and satisfaction.
• Offer education on MTM Transit procedures and maintain regulatory awareness (ADA/DOT/FTA).
