Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or equivalent business management experience.
• Experience managing operations and transit environments; 5+ years in ops management and 7+ years in leadership.
• Proficiency with Trapeze scheduling software; knowledge of dispatch, scheduling, driver recruitment, and DOT/FTA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer relations and outreach programs.
• Identify, select, train and mentor location staff.
• Communicate with location staff and support teams.
• Oversee vehicle maintenance and fleet availability.
• Oversee safety and training programs to ensure compliance with company, contract and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain client contact to meet or exceed expectations.
• Conduct periodic departmental audits.
• Review key operational metrics daily, weekly and monthly.
• Manage location financial metrics and develop action plans to meet financial, safety and operational goals.
• Implement, promote and adhere to company policies and procedures.
• Participate in location labor and employee relations activities.
• Provide insights to support contract renewals.
• Create and present location annual budget.
