Job summary

MTM Transit in Corvallis, OR is seeking a General Manager to coordinate contract delivery and liaison with operations, corporate support, and transportation providers. You will ensure contractual compliance and cost-effective service delivery at the local site.

You will lead staff development, monitor performance, and maintain safety and regulatory standards while representing MTM Transit with clients in a consultative capacity. Knowledge of ADA/DOT/FTA regulations is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3-5 years of management experience in the Fixed Route Transit industry.
• Experience monitoring the delivery of contractual services.
• Must possess a valid current driver’s license.
• Ability to acquire in-depth knowledge of MTM Transit operations, policies, and guidelines.
• Knowledge of ADA, DOT, FTA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Contract oversight and client needs facilitation with anticipated growth.
• Identify potential risk and develop resolution processes.
• Analyze program needs and productivity; adjust staffing for cost effectiveness.
• Develop or oversee documentation or work plans as required.
• Employee training and development.
• Maintain understanding of MTM Transit policies and the employee handbook.
