Job summary

MTM Transit is seeking a General Manager in McMinnville, OR to lead contract delivery, oversee staffing, and ensure cost-effective transit services. The role collaborates with operations, corporate teams, and providers to meet contractual requirements.

You will drive program improvements, supervise staff, and maintain regulatory compliance while fostering strong client relationships and safe, reliable service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years of management in Paratransit and Fixed Route transit.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of ADA, DOT, FTA regulations.
• Experience monitoring delivery of contractual services.
• Familiarity with computerized transit routing systems.
• Union environment experience preferred.
• CDL Class B with Passenger Endorsements preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee contract delivery and client needs with anticipation of growth.
• Identify potential risk and develop resolution processes.
• Analyze program needs and adjust staffing for cost effectiveness.
• Develop or oversee documentation or work plans as required.
• Train and develop employees and ensure adherence to MTM policies.
• Act as liaison between MTM Transit and client for issue resolution and annual plan reviews.
• Maintain compliance with FTA and DOT guidelines across sites.
