Firehouse Subs in Phoenix seeks a General Manager to lead daily restaurant operations, ensure health and safety compliance, and deliver guest-focused service in a fast-paced environment.

You will supervise staff, manage budgeting, assist in local marketing, and uphold Firehouse Subs policies while driving profitability.

Responsibilities

• Ensure full compliance with local, state, and federal regulations including health, wage, age, employment laws, ADA and OSHA.
• Ensure adherence and enforcement of all Firehouse Subs policies and procedures.
• Provide leadership to the restaurant team to meet guest service, quality, and cleanliness standards.
• Ensure restaurant profitability by managing food cost, labor, controllables, utilities and sales growth.
• Coordinate and implement current operations plans and company initiatives.
• Staff the restaurant with qualified personnel and train employees.
• Train and develop the Assistant Manager and Shift Managers.
• Participate in local restaurant marketing in the trade area.
• Implement and promote Public Safety Foundation initiatives.
• Ensure all required programs and reports are accurate and on schedule.
• Engage with community affairs to support sales and PR opportunities.
• Represent Firehouse Subs professionally at all times.
• Communicate issues to the GM/Owner that may impact the business.
• Maintain equipment in working order and report issues promptly to the Owner.
• Any other duties assigned by the Owner.
