Job summary

SONIC Drive-In in Casa Grande, AZ seeks an experienced General Manager to lead the team, ensure food quality, safety and guest satisfaction while driving results.

You will train and coach crew, plan schedules, manage inventory and payroll records, develop action plans for performance, and implement marketing plans.

The role requires 2+ years of restaurant management, ability to work long hours, weekends, and holidays, and strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; advanced studies in business/restaurant management preferred.
• Minimum of two years of restaurant management experience (QSR preferred) and experience running shifts without supervision.
• Ability to work minimum 5 days with irregular hours, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Knowledge of recruiting, interviewing and selection practices.
• Knowledge of labor laws, health and sanitation regulations.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to follow directions and work with autonomy; multi-task effectively.

Responsibilities

• Manages, trains, coaches Crew/Team members, Carhops and Skating Carhops.
• Directs and assigns staff to meet service standards.
• Open/close duties and scheduling; monitor staffing levels.
• Monitor inventory; place orders within cost controls.
• Maintain payroll and employment records; generate operational reports.
• Develop and implement a marketing plan and action plans to improve sales.
