Job summary

HMSHost is seeking a General Manager I in Fort Myers to lead a QSR restaurant or small cluster, ensuring strong daily operations and financial performance. You will manage staffing, schedules, training, and customer service while upholding brand standards.

Responsibilities include controlling P&L, optimizing operations, and driving revenue with strategic leadership, while adhering to safety and compliance requirements and fostering employee engagement across the team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of restaurant P&L management experience.
• Total restaurant experience 5–7 years is typical.
• Graduation from a Food Service Management or Culinary program may substitute for some experience.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead a team.
• Knowledge of HMSHost policies, operations and brand standards.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Open and close operations and ensure opening/closing checklists are followed.
• Deploy staff and resources to maximize profitability and manage scheduling.
• Ensure product availability, order procedures, and supply chain communication.
• Provide training and development to staff and enforce brand standards.
• Drive revenue through marketing initiatives and customer service excellence.
• Uphold health, safety and compliance standards across the unit.
• Report to operations leadership and align with unit goals.
