Job summary

Vogrinc Search Group seeks a General Manager to lead our HVAC/plumbing division, own the division’s profitability, and scale revenue. You will manage field technicians, dispatch, safety, and daily operations to drive growth and excellence.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of construction/project-management experience, a related degree or certification, and a valid California driver license; strong communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of experience in managing projects in construction or related fields.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction science or related fields, or an equivalent certification with experience.
• California Driver License with clean DMV record.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and administrative abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Excel.

Responsibilities

• P&L ownership: manage division budget, labor/material costs, pricing.
• Lead and mentor licensed plumbers, apprentices, and office staff.
• Oversee dispatching, scheduling, and job workflows for efficiency.
• Develop and execute sales strategies to grow maintenance contracts and market share.
• Act as final escalation point for customer inquiries and disputes.
