Connectly Recruiting seeks a General Manager to lead our HVAC/plumbing division, owning operations and financial success. You’ll manage the full lifecycle of the plumbing department—from field technicians to P&L, safety, and business growth.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of project management experience in construction.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction science or related field, or equivalent certification.
• Extensive HVAC and general construction knowledge.
• California driver license with clean DMV record.
• Strong communication, organization and administrative skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Excel; capable with job costing and scheduling tools.

Responsibilities

• P&L ownership: manage division budget, costs, pricing, and gross margins.
• Lead licensed plumbers, apprentices, and office staff; foster accountability and safety.
• Oversee dispatch, scheduling and field workflows to boost efficiency.
• Develop sales strategies to grow commercial maintenance and residential plans.
• Be the final escalation point for customer inquiries and disputes.
