Qualifications

• Previous hotel leadership experience (GM/Operations).
• Experience managing budgets, forecasting, payroll, and costs.
• Strong communication, leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build relationships with guests, employees, owners, vendors, clients, and community partners.
• Ability to analyze hotel performance metrics and implement improvements.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and hospitality tech tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of hotel operations (Front Desk, Housekeeping, Maintenance, Laundry, Guest Services, and overall property performance).
• Maintain a visible leadership presence and engage with guests and team members.
• Conduct daily operational reviews, team meetings, property walks, and shift check-ins.
• Recruit, hire, train, coach, schedule, and develop hotel team members.
• Establish clear expectations and hold team members accountable for performance, service, attendance, and brand standards.
• Build a positive, inclusive, service-focused culture centered on teamwork and guest satisfaction.
• Support leadership development and succession planning for high‑performing staff.
• Ensure staffing levels and labor schedules align with occupancy and financial objectives.
• Manage hotel budgets, forecasting, payroll, labor expenses, purchasing, and costs.
• Monitor key hotel-performance indicators and review financial reports.
• Identify revenue opportunities and implement strategies to improve performance.
• Oversee banking, cash handling, purchasing, inventory, and controls.
• Partner with ARK Hospitality leadership to achieve ownership objectives and financial targets.
