Republic Services is seeking a General Manager to lead a Business Unit with full P&L responsibility across operations, fleet, sales, finance, HR, safety, and environmental compliance. You will drive the local market strategy, manage multiple sites and business lines, and partner with customers and stakeholders to grow profitability.

The role requires proven leadership of large teams, change initiatives, and strong operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of progressive leadership and management responsibility.
• Minimum of 3 years of P & L experience.

Responsibilities

• Implements and executes plans to support the Area’s strategic operating plan.
• Champions execution of strategic and tactical initiatives within the Business Unit.
• Drive safety, compliance, and efficiency across operations and facilities.
• Develop and manage customer relationships, vendors, and municipal stakeholders.
• Travel up to 30% as required.
