Republic Services is seeking an Operations Manager – Landfill to lead daily landfill operations, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and drive efficiency across the site. You will supervise supervisors and operators, enforce policies, and coordinate with management to execute strategic plans.

The role requires strong leadership, experience in landfill operations, and a commitment to safety and performance metrics within a large organization.

Qualifications

• Directs large staff with a focus on safety, compliance and productivity.
• Experience in landfill operations and regulatory requirements is preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership and decision-making abilities in a multi-site setting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily landfill operations and supervise the landfill team.
• Ensure safety, environmental and equipment maintenance policies are followed.
• Collaborate with General Manager and Area Manager to execute operational plans.
• Monitor permits, testing, reporting and contractor relationships.
