Job summary

Republic Services is seeking an Environmental Services Project Manager to lead execution of diverse projects at client sites, ensuring contract and safety compliance and profitability. The role oversees field tasks, regulatory adherence, and risk management, coordinating resources and on-site personnel.

The candidate will guide customers on waste reduction and recycling programs, provide data per specs, and support sales with compliant solutions while managing subcontractors and safety

Qualifications

• Knowledge of regulations specific to the environmental waste industry; analysis and evaluation.
• Industrial safety practices and hazardous waste handling knowledge.
• Analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure, exercise independent judgment and manage resources.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Performs onsite regulatory inspections and supports waste profiling.
• Collaborates with customers to establish reuse, reduction, recycling programs and implement them.
• Provides data and reporting to customers per contract specifications.
• Advises on RCRA, DOT, TSCA and other applicable regulations.
• Monitors subcontractor services for completeness or deficiencies.
• Assists in implementing technical systems, software, or solutions and provides training.
• Works with sales to identify new opportunities and retain existing business.
