SONIC Drive-In in the United States seeks a General Manager to lead daily operations, train and coach Crew, Carhops and management, and ensure food is served safely with outstanding guest experience.

You will open/close, schedule staff, manage inventory, develop action plans for sales trends, implement a local marketing plan, and uphold SONIC standards. This is a hands-on leadership role with strong customer focus.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent; advanced studies in business or restaurant management preferred.
• Minimum of two years restaurant management experience (QSR preferred); experience running shifts without supervision.
• Able to work a minimum 5-day workweek with 4 closing shifts (or 4 days with guarantee) including irregular hours.
• Knowledge of recruiting, interviewing and selection practices.
• Knowledge of federal and state labor laws as well as local health and sanitation laws.
• Leadership and supervisory skills; effective verbal and written communication.
• Basic accounting and computer skills.
• Ability to follow directions, multitask and solve problems.
• Problem solving and conflict-resolution skills.
• Willingness to abide by SONIC appearance and hygiene standards.

Responsabilidades

• Manages, trains, monitors and coaches Crew/Team members, Carhops and Skating Carhops.
• Directs and assigns drive-in restaurant employees to meet standards.
• Adheres to employee handbook, policies and practices.
• Performs restaurant opening and/or closing duties.
• Prepares employee work schedules and adjusts staffing levels.
• Monitors inventory and places orders within cost controls.
• Completes payroll records and maintains employment records.
• Reinforces customer service and focuses on serving the customer.
• Interviews and hires staff to achieve proper staffing levels.
• Prepares operational reports and develops action plans to resolve trends.
• Develops and implements a local marketing plan.
