Job summary

Chaipolitan Teahouse & Cafe in Nashville is seeking a General Manager to oversee front-of-house and back-of-house operations, resolve customer and employee concerns, and uphold our mission and values. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2–3 years general manager or kitchen manager experience in cafe/restaurant.
• Familiarity with POS systems (Toast, Square) and kitchen display systems.
• Experience in budgeting, cost and labor operations, payroll.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations for front- and back-of-house.
• Consult with owners and staff on improvements and action plans.
• Ensure consistent quality customer experience through staffing and recipes.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and proper appearance of the establishment.
• Oversee hiring, training, and development of FOH/BOH staff.
