Job summary

McDonald’s franchisee-operated General Manager position in Michigan, Troy, is seeking an experienced leader to run a high-volume restaurant. You will oversee the operations, drive profitability, and ensure top customer standards across service, quality, and cleanliness.

This job posting is for a position in a restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee and not McDonald’s USA. This franchisee holds a license to use McDonald’s logos and food products when operating the restaurant. If you are hired for this job, the franchisee will be your employer, not McDonald’s USA. Responsibilities

The General Manager is responsible for running a profitable restaurant and for ensuring the restaurant meets McDonald’s critical customer standards of quality, service, and cleanliness. The General Manager sets the restaurant’s goals in partnership with the leader and creates a plan to achieve them. To meet restaurant goals, the General Manager leads a team of Department Managers, helping them set their own goals, monitoring progress, and providing coaching. The General Manager may also be responsible for hiring and developing Department and Shift Managers to build a strong team.

Qualifications

• Previous General Manager experience running high-volume locations.
• Background in quick-service restaurants, hospitality, or retail is strongly desired.
• Must be 18 years or older to hold a managerial position in our corporate-owned and operated restaurants.
