Ideal candidates have prior GM experience in quick-service, hospitality or retail, are 18+, and can hire and develop Department and Shift Managers. Starting pay is $58,770 per year with extensive benefits.

This job posting is for a position in a restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee and not McDonald’s USA. This franchisee owns a licence to use McDonald’s logos and food products. The franchisee is a separate company and employer from McDonald’s USA. Employment matters such as hiring, firing, discipline, supervision, staffing, and scheduling are handled solely by the franchisee. McDonald’s USA is not involved in any employment decisions for this role.

Job Responsibilities

The General Manager is responsible for running a profitable restaurant and ensuring the restaurant meets McDonald’s critical customer standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. The General Manager works with their leader to set the restaurant’s goals and develops a plan to achieve those goals. To meet restaurant objectives, the General Manager leads a team of Department Managers, sets their own goals, follows up on progress, and provides coaching and direction to improve departmental performance. The General Manager may also be responsible for hiring and developing Department and Shift Managers to build a strong future leadership team.

Qualifications

Ideal candidates should have previous General Manager experience running high‑volume locations. A background in quick‑service restaurants is strongly desired, or experience in hospitality or retail. Candidates must be 18 years or older to serve as a manager in our corporate‑owned and operated restaurants.

Pay Rate

Starting at $58,770/yr
