The General Manager is responsible for running a profitable restaurant and ensuring the restaurant meets McDonald’s critical customer standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness.
The General Manager works with leadership to set restaurant goals and creates a plan to achieve them. To meet these goals, the manager leads a team of Department Managers, helping them set their own objectives, monitoring progress, and providing coaching and direction to improve performance. In addition, the General Manager may be responsible for hiring and developing Department and Shift Managers to build a capable future leadership team.
Ideal candidates should have previous General Manager experience running high‑volume locations. A background in quick‑service restaurants, hospitality, or retail is strongly desired. Candidates must be 18 years or older.
