This job posting is for a position in a restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee. The franchisee is a separate company and employer from McDonald’s USA. Employment matters such as hiring, firing, discipline, supervision, staffing, and scheduling are handled exclusively by the franchisee.

Starting Pay

Minimum $62 000 and up, depending on experience, with potential monthly bonus. McDonald’s experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

The General Manager is responsible for running a profitable restaurant and ensuring that the restaurant meets McDonald’s critical customer standards of Quality, Service, and Cleanliness. This includes setting restaurant goals, creating plans to achieve them, and working with leadership to align objectives. The General Manager leads a team of Department Managers, helping them set their own goals, track progress, and receive coaching to improve departmental performance. The General Manager may also be responsible for hiring and developing Department and Shift Managers to build an effective team for future success.

Qualifications

Ideal candidates should have prior General Manager experience running high‑volume locations and a strong background in quick‑service restaurants, hospitality, or retail. Candidates must be 18 years or older to be a manager in our corporate‑owned and operated restaurants.
