Job summary

ARK is seeking a General Manager to oversee all aspects of the hotel in line with our vision and core values. This role focuses on maximizing financial performance, guest satisfaction, and staff development, with duties including hiring and training staff and maintaining 24-hour availability.

You will lead budgets, revenue strategies, and daily operations while promoting exceptional guest service and high team performance across the property.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; advanced education in hospitality preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Previous experience as a hotel manager, assistant manager, or hotel department manager required.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to manage teams effectively.

The General Manager (GM) is primarily responsible for overseeing all aspects of the hotel in accordance with our vision and mission statement and core values. The General Manager’s responsibilities include the maximization of financial performance, guest satisfaction, and staff development within established quality standards. The General Manager is also responsible for the hiring and training of all hotel staff. As a leader, we’re looking for a self-starter and understand the position requires 24-hour availability.
