Job summary

Five Guys Burgers and Fries is seeking a General Manager for our California location. The role requires leadership experience and a strong ability to manage daily operations in a fast-paced restaurant with an open kitchen and high energy.

The GM will oversee financial and inventory controls, team training, and customer relations, ensuring the shift runs smoothly from opening to closing. Bonus programs are available, emphasizing performance and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must have 1-2 years leadership experience in some capacity.
• 1-2 years experience in the food service business.
• ServeSafe Certification a plus.
• Strong references from people who have worked for you and who you've worked for.

Responsibilities

• Crew assignment, training and motivation of the team during your shift
• Customer relationship management
• Full accountability for how the shift runs under your watch
• Typically work both opening and closing shifts each week; Morning shift: 8:00am - 4:00pm; Afternoon shift: 3:00pm - 11:00pm.
