Job description

General Maintenance Worker (Finance)

Set Pay Rate: $23.01 USD per hour

SHIFT: 7:30am-4:00pm

Essential Functions:

• Perform alterations involving construction repairs, renovations, fabrications, and modifications of building and office surfaces.
• Perform maintenance and repair of walls, doors, frames, windows, window frames, forms, ceilings, roofs, floors, all types of framing, shelving, tables, benches, cabinets, counters, countertops, facings, signs, scaffolds, and various building components such as wood, metal, plastics, laminates, sheet rock, and paneling.
• Modify, install, assemble, remove, or repair structures, partitions, walls, cabinets, furniture, roofs, ceilings, and floor coverings.
• Sand, scrape, paint, stain, varnish shelves, cabinets, and furniture as assigned.
• Install, repair, or replace building hardware including locks, door closers, hinges, and stops.
• Repair, replace, or install roofing materials, shelves, pictures, clocks, dispensers, and other accessories.
• Perform tasks such as locksmith work, tile setting, masonry, painting, glazing, and cabinet making.
• Follow work priorities and use technology and equipment safely and properly.
• Attend work regularly, wear ID badges, follow instructions, participate in meetings, and work cooperatively.
• Comply with policies, procedures, safety, security, and site rules, including snow removal when needed.

Physical Abilities:

• Ability to sit, stand, walk, work in confined spaces, climb stairs, and get in/out of trucks.
• Reach, bend, kneel, stoop, lift/carry/push up to 50 lbs., work in dusty or adverse weather conditions, and see details.

Job Competencies:

• Work independently and with others, follow directions, prioritize, organize, and provide quality service.
• Use integrity, understand technical materials, report problems, and communicate effectively in English.
• Operate telephones, computers, and equipment properly, and manipulate numbers.

Other Requirements:

• Valid driver's license with at least 3 years of validity and a good driving record.
• US Citizenship; candidates with disabilities preferred.

Essential Personnel:

This position is essential; employees may need to report to work during emergencies to ensure operations continue.
