Summary

Responsible for the overall operation and maintenance of campus facilities. Will participate in and supervise basic general maintenance duties including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC, and other tasks. Responsible for moving and hauling furniture, equipment, materials, and trash.

This is an Essential Personnel position, which may require reporting for duty during emergencies and being designated as essential for critical tasks by the supervisor.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Basic knowledge of plumbing, carpentry, and electrical repairs
  • Ability to use hand and electrical tools
  • Ability to follow oral, written, and diagrammed instructions
  • Adherence to safety rules and regulations
  • Physical ability to perform heavy lifting up to 60 pounds and stand for extended periods
  • Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

Required Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two years of general maintenance experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • CDL License
