Job summary

CoVolt Power is seeking candidates for a field-based, hands-on position contributing to the construction of a solar field. The role supports the mechanical scope and requires outdoor work in varied weather conditions.

Responsibilities include assisting with string line, laser, pile shakeout/installation, tracker gear installation, module staging and QA/QC, and working closely with supervisors and teammates to ensure safety and quality on site.

Qualifications

• Able to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly in outdoor conditions.
• Experience on construction projects is preferred.
• Comfort working outdoors in varied and extreme weather.
• Must be able to follow precise instructions and take direction.
• Ability to work with supervisors and teammates to complete tasks safely.

Responsibilities

• Assist with string line setup and alignment.
• Assist with laser and pile shakeout/installation tasks.
• Support tracker and gear installation activities.
• Contribute to module staging and QA/QC processes.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness on the job site.
• Adhere to site-specific safety policies and procedures.

• SPC Controller

Skills/Abilities

• Able to lift 50+ pounds
• Able to conduct repetitive actions, such as stooping, bending, pushing, pulling, and reaching
• Able to stand or walk for extended periods of time
• Able to follow precise instruction and receive feedback
• Strong teamwork skills and ability to work well with others, including colleagues and supervisors
• Experience working on construction projects preferred
• This position requires working outdoors in various, often extreme weather conditions including rain, snow, heat, cold, etc.
• Candidates must be able to work in all weather conditions, as safety permits.
• This position may also include exposure to loud noises, dust, debris, and other construction-related hazards.

Education

• GED or equivalent education preferred
