Job summary

CoVolt Power seeks hands-on field technicians to support the construction of a solar field in Iowa. This role focuses on the mechanical scope and requires outdoor work, lifting, and teamwork.

You will assist with pile and module installation, tracker setup, and related assembly activities, operating in varying weather conditions and following safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform outdoor construction tasks in variable weather.
• Able to stand/walk for extended periods and perform repetitive motions.
• Must follow precise instructions and accept feedback.
• Strong teamwork and ability to work with supervisors and colleagues.
• Experience on construction projects is preferred.
• Must work outdoors in varying weather conditions and safetyPermits.
• Exposure to loud noises, dust, and debris may occur.

Responsibilities

• Assists with String Line, Laser, Pile Shakeout, Pile Installation, Pile Remediation.
• Assists with Tracker Shakeout, Slew Gear Installation, Torque Tube Installation, Drive Line Installation.
• Assists with Motor installation, Huck & BOM, MIB, Damper, Module Staging and Module Installation.
• Supports Tracker QA/QC and Module QA/QC, SPC Controller.
