Job summary

CoVolt Power is seeking a field-based, hands-on team member to contribute to the construction of a solar field in Texas. This position supports the mechanical scope and will involve outdoor work in varied weather conditions.

You will assist with equipment setup, pile work, tracker operations, QA/QC, and module staging alongside experienced team members. GED or equivalent is preferred. Equal opportunity employer and E-Verify.

Qualifications

• Work outdoors in varied and potentially extreme weather conditions.
• Exposure to loud noises, dust and debris may occur.

Responsibilities

• Assist with field construction tasks in solar field setup.
• Support with string line, laser, pile shakeout, pile remediation, tracker shakeout, and QA/QC processes.
• Staging modules and coordinating with team for site readiness.
• Participate in safety practices and adhere to site rules.

• String Line
• Laser
• Pile Shakeout
• Pile Remediation
• Tracker Shakeout
• Huck & BOM
• MIB
• Damper
• Module Staging
• Tracker QA/QC
• Module QA/QC
• SPC Controller

Skills/Abilities:

• Able to lift 50+pounds
• Able to conduct repetitive actions, such as stooping, bending, pushing, pulling, and reaching
• Able to stand or walk for extended periods of time
• Able to follow precise instruction and receive feedback
• Strong teamwork skills and ability to work well with others, including colleagues and supervisors
• Experience working on construction projects preferred
• This position requires working outdoors in various, often extreme weather conditions including rain, snow, heat, cold, etc.
• Candidates must be able to work in all weather conditions, as safety permits.
• This position may also include exposure to loud noises, dust, debris, and other construction-related hazards.
