The Atlantic District is seeking a General Insurance Agent in Frederick, MD, who values relationships with clients and community engagement. You will review client accounts, guide clients through policy options, and maintain precise records in digital systems to ensure seamless service.

Required three+ years in personal lines insurance and MD license; Life/Health license is a bonus. A collaborative, growth-oriented environment awaits that prioritizes helpful, local outreach and ongoing learning.

Qualifications

• Clear and articulate communication skills for explaining policy details.
• High attention to detail when reviewing policy renewals and coverage limits.
• Technical comfort with standard agency management systems and digital document filing.
• Three or more years of experience managing personal lines insurance policies.
• Maryland Property & Casualty license (required).
• Active Life and Health insurance license is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough reviews of existing client accounts to ensure they have the protection that makes sense for their current life stage.
• Guide prospective clients through the selection process, helping them weigh coverage options against their specific financial goals.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records within our digital systems to ensure seamless service.
• Manage incoming requests for policy changes, quotes, and billing inquiries with kindness and efficiency.
• Partner with our local Frederick team to participate in community-focused outreach and networking events.
• Track market trends and carrier updates to provide the most current and relevant advice to our policyholders.
