The Atlantic District in Somerset, PA seeks a General Agency Principal to lead the Somerset office, mentor a high-performing sales team, and shape a values-driven culture. You will drive growth, develop local marketing initiatives, and foster community connections to serve neighbors and businesses.

Ideal candidates bring proven agency-management experience, state licenses, and a passion for coaching and integrity in client relationships.

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty and Life & Health licenses.
• Proven track record in insurance agency management or high-level sales leadership.
• Strong ability to coach and mentor sales staff to help them reach their potential.
• Deep understanding of insurance products and local market dynamics in the Somerset area.
• Exceptional relationship-building skills to expand our network within the community.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations and strategic direction of our Somerset office to ensure consistent growth and service excellence.
• Recruit, train, and support a high-performing sales team by fostering an environment of continuous learning and mutual encouragement.
• Develop and execute local marketing initiatives that grow our brand presence and strengthen our ties to the community.
• Manage and nurture long-term relationships with existing clients while seeking out new opportunities to serve our neighbors.
• Monitor performance metrics and adjust workflows to streamline the insurance buying process for our policyholders.
• Represent The Atlantic District at community events and local professional gatherings to maintain our reputation as a trusted local resource.
