Job summary

Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America (HMGMA) seeks a General Affairs Strategic Planning Manager to lead the strategic planning section, drive policy compliance, and coordinate cross-functional operations. You will mentor staff, develop long-term initiatives, and translate objectives into actionable projects while tracking KPIs and driving efficiency across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in General Affairs or related field.
• Experience and strong knowledge in the automotive industry.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and management software.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the General Affairs Strategic Planning Section, providing clear direction, guidance, and support to team members.
• Mentor and develop staff through coaching, training, and performance evaluations.
• Collaborate with senior management to develop, refine, and execute strategic initiatives aimed at improving operational efficiency and organizational effectiveness.
• Translate strategic objectives into actionable plans and monitor progress against key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Collect, analyze, and interpret quantitative and qualitative data to support solutions strategic decision-making.
• Perform trend analysis, forecasting, and scenario planning to guide long-term strategies.
• Identify bottlenecks and propose innovative measures to improve cross-functional coordination.
• Ensure compliance within document security, company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
• Plan, organize, and execute departmental and organizational events, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
• Coordinate logistics, resources, and stakeholder communication for successful event delivery.
• Evaluate event outcomes and prepare post-event reports for continuous improvement.
