Job summary

Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America (HMGMA) is seeking a Production Group Leader to oversee Team Leaders and Members in the automotive manufacturing and quality areas. You will direct multiple teams and coordinate production sequences to achieve goals.

You will inspect materials for defects, demonstrate safety procedures, monitor processes, and ensure adherence to standards and policies. Leadership, problem solving, and a focus on safety, quality, cost, and delivery are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.
• 1–5 years of job-related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Team Leaders/Members in the manufacturing/quality areas of an automotive environment.
• Direct and coordinate the activities of multiple team leaders in production of automotive vehicles.
• Plan and establish work schedules, assignments, and production sequences to meet goals.
• Inspect materials, products, or equipment to detect defects or malfunctions.
• Demonstrate equipment operations and safety procedures.
• Monitor work processes to ensure compliance with production standards.
• Use judgment in assigning, distributing, and coordinating the team’s work.
• Ensure quality and timely completion based on team skills and availability.
