Job summary

Hyundai Motor Group Metaplant America (HMGMA) seeks an experienced EHS leader to oversee safety and environmental programs at the production site. You will coordinate safety meetings, lead investigations, and drive compliance with OSHA, NFPA, ANSI and EPA regulations.

Responsibilities include establishing safety policies, developing metrics, mentoring teams, and ensuring contractor safety during installations. Strong communication, leadership coaching, and change management are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Safety Science or related field.
• 15+ years of job-related experience.
• Extensive knowledge of OSHA, NFPA, ANSI and EPA regulations and reporting requirements.
• Experience to establish and operate procedures based on ISO14001.
• Proficient in MS Office products.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, analytical, problem solving and human relations skills.
• Strong organizational and systems implementation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Leadership coaching skills; investigation skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Safety TFT meeting (every Friday) with stakeholders and lead safety discussions.
• Facilitate committee meetings, encourage participation, and guide discussions on safety issues, initiatives, and recommendations.
• Present safety issues to leadership groups and weekly calls.
• Coordinate to solve site EHS issues from affiliates construction sites related to HMGMA.
• Ensure construction site safety compliance and monitor regulatory adherence.
• Lead investigations to determine root causes and contributing factors.
