Job summary

Arrowhead Winch, located in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, is hiring a General Accounting Manager to oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The role reports to the CFO and requires close collaboration with multiple departments and external auditors.

The position is fully on-site, with a strong focus on internal controls, process improvements, and staff development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.
• 5+ years progressive accounting experience.
• 2+ years supervisory/management experience.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
• Experience with month-end close and financial statement prep.
• Experience managing external audits.
• Advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close to ensure accurate reporting.
• Oversee preparation of financial statements, schedules, and reports per US GAAP.
• Coordinate with external auditors and support annual audits.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls; recommend improvements.
• Collaborate with operations, supply chain, and finance leadership to improve processes.
• Lead budgeting and forecasting with department heads; present results to executives.
• Oversee Accounts Payable and ensure timely supplier payments.
• Develop and retain staff through recruitment and promotion.
